Jordan Black, Chief Operating Officer of Campus Living Solutions, is a North Carolina native whose career blends deep industry expertise with a genuine commitment to relationship-driven service. Now in his fifteenth year in the housing market, Jordan has built a reputation for excellence in sales, customer account management, and operational leadership. His early immersion in the industry gave him a strong foundation in understanding both client needs and market demands, allowing him to approach each opportunity with clarity, precision, and an unwavering focus on long-term partnerships.

Before joining Campus Living Solutions, Jordan also cultivated a parallel career in healthcare as an ICU nurse—an experience that continues to shape his leadership style today. The high-stakes, high-care environment of critical care instilled in him a steady presence, a strong sense of accountability, and an exceptional standard of personal attention. These qualities translate directly into the way he manages teams, builds customer relationships, and ensures that every client receives the thoughtful, attentive service they deserve.

Outside of work, Jordan’s world revolves around his two young sons, ages one and two. Their boundless energy and charm have even found their way into his professional life—helping him win over more than one client in the right moment. Whether at home or at work, Jordan brings the same sense of devotion, patience, and genuine connection that defines his character. 

As Chief Revenue Officer at Campus Living Solutions, I work directly with colleges and universities to create reliable, high-quality solutions for student living. From mattresses to appliances to furniture, our goal is to support schools in enhancing the student experience while making campus operations easier.

Before joining CLS, I founded Dormi, a mattress rental company that operates across the country and is focused entirely on improving student sleep and wellness. Through Dormi, I gained firsthand insight into how to successfully work within the unique systems of higher education and how to deliver services that meet both student needs and administrative priorities.

I’ve partnered with residence life teams, facilities managers, and student success leaders to bring in solutions that improve comfort, increase retention, and reduce waste. I understand the pressures schools face and how important it is to bring in vendors that are dependable, thoughtful, and easy to work with.
